What is particular
to Liebherr.

The range covers 24-inch integrated fridge-freezers, integrated refrigerators and freezers, the Monolith full-height columns and wine storage. The integrated units and the Monolith are serviced very differently, so the service number from the tag matters more than the model name.

Two circuits that share no air

DuoCooling models control the refrigerator and freezer with two independent cooling circuits, and no air passes between the compartments. A warm refrigerator over a cold freezer therefore points at the refrigerator's own circuit, not at a shared duct or damper.

BioFresh runs just above freezing

BioFresh drawers are held slightly above 32 degrees F, and on the Monolith one drawer can go below freezing for fish. Food that freezes in a BioFresh drawer is often a setting, not a failure.

Door-on-door on the integrated models

The US 24-inch integrated fridge-freezers use a door-on-door system: the cabinet panel is mounted on the appliance door. When the panel sags or rubs, the adjustment between the two doors is usually the cause.

A 9-digit service number

Every Liebherr has a service number and serial number on the tag inside the cabinet, and Liebherr's own manual lookup runs on them. Having that tag photographed makes the visit and the parts order much faster.

Parts

Liebherr identifies parts by the service number on the inside tag, so a visit goes faster when that number is known in advance. Custom door panels come from the cabinetmaker, not from Liebherr.

Repair or replace

A 24-inch integrated fridge-freezer is a closer call than a Monolith, because a replacement drops into the same standard niche. On the Monolith, repair is almost always the answer.

My Liebherr display shows F0 to F5. What does it mean?
On the US 24-inch integrated fridge-freezers, Liebherr's use and care manual lists an F0 through F5 display as a malfunction and says to contact service. Note the exact code and the service number from the inside tag before the visit.
My Liebherr refrigerator is warm but the freezer is fine. Why?
On DuoCooling models the two compartments have independent cooling circuits and share no air, so the cold freezer does not mean the refrigerator's system is working. The search stays on the refrigerator circuit.
Where is the Liebherr service number?
On the serial tag inside the appliance; its exact position varies by model. Liebherr's own manual lookup asks for the 9-digit service number or the serial number.
Can I reverse the door on my Monolith?
Liebherr's planning guide asks owners to contact its Monolith customer service for reversing the door hinge. The hinges carry heavy panels, up to 40 kg depending on the model.
