What is particular
to Fulgor Milano.

The refrigeration range is 18-, 24- and 30-inch refrigerator and freezer columns in overlay or stainless, 36-inch built-in bottom-mount and French-door refrigerators, and 24-inch built-in wine cellars with triple-pane glass. Columns and the 36-inch combi units have different manuals and different condenser access.

Two compressors on the larger built-ins

Fulgor's 36-inch bottom-mount units run on two independent compressors, so one of them is almost always running. A compressor heard running with a warm compartment points at that compartment's own system, not the whole unit.

Freezer columns have their own compressor

Each freezer column has a dedicated compressor and evaporator. In a column pair, a warm refrigerator beside a cold freezer tells you which of the two units needs attention.

The condenser reminder is off by default

The control offers a 12-month reminder to clean the condenser, but it ships disabled. Many owners have never cleaned the condenser behind the front ventilation grille, and a clogged one makes the unit run long and drift warm.

A convertible bottom drawer

The Flexzone bottom drawer can run as a freezer or a fresh compartment, and the ice maker only works when that drawer is set to freezer mode. A 'broken ice maker' is sometimes just a changed drawer setting.

I hear a compressor running all the time on my Fulgor Milano. Is that a problem?
Not necessarily. Fulgor says its 36-inch bottom-mount units have two independent compressors, and it is normal for one of them to always be running. If a compartment is also warm, book a visit.
Why is my Fulgor Milano ice maker not making ice?
Check the bottom drawer setting first. Fulgor's manual says the ice maker only makes ice when the Fresh Zone compartment is set to freezer mode. If it is set correctly and still makes no ice after 24 hours, book a visit.
There is frost in the fresh compartment drawer. What should I do?
Fulgor links this to frequent and long door openings. Its manual says to turn off the crisper function, let the frost melt, then dry the drawer and compartment. If frost comes back with normal use, the door seal or drawer alignment should be checked.
How do I reach the condenser on a Fulgor Milano refrigerator?
It sits behind the front ventilation grille. On the 36-inch units there is an upper condenser behind a grille that rotates up and a lower one behind a magnetic grille. Vacuum it with a soft brush and turn on the 12-month reminder so it is not forgotten.
