Book a visit

Book a refrigerator
repair visit.

The form is the whole booking. It asks for no payment, and nothing is charged until a technician has seen the refrigerator and told you what the repair is.

Three short steps, about a minute.

What the form asks,
and why.

Each answer goes to the technician before the visit, so the right parts are more likely to be on the van. Nothing here is a commitment: the price comes after the diagnosis.

Have the model number to hand if you can find it: where the model number hides covers the usual places.

Step oneThe appliance and the problem

Which refrigerator it is and what it is doing. This decides which technician comes and what they bring.

Step twoA window that suits you

Pick the date and the window. You are not booked into a whole day.

Step threeWhere to find you

The address and a number to reach you on. Gate codes and lift access are worth adding here.

After you book,
the visit.

The three steps above are the booking. These four are what happens once a technician is in your kitchen.

What repairs cost
01

Diagnose

The technician confirms what the appliance is doing rather than working from the description alone, and checks the cheap causes before the expensive ones.

02

Quote before any work

You are told what the repair is and what it costs before any work is approved. If the answer is that the appliance is not worth repairing, you are told that too.

03

Parts

Common parts are carried. Anything model-specific is ordered against your model number, which is why having it ready shortens the whole process.

04

Repair and check

The repair is completed and the appliance is left running, with the problem confirmed gone rather than assumed gone.

Before the
technician arrives.

Three things that make the first visit the only one.

What a code means

Leave it as it is

A refrigerator that has been unplugged and reset hides the problem it had. Keep it running unless it is leaking, sparking or smells of burning.

Write the code down

If the display shows a code, copy the exact characters. The same letters mean different things on different makes.

Clear the way

Empty the space in front of it and the route from the door. Note when the trouble started and what changed first: a power cut, a move, a new setting.

Where we
come out.

Nine metros. If your street is not listed, give the address in the form and we will say straight away.

Questions
about booking.

Do I pay anything when I book?
No. The form asks for no card and no deposit. You are told what the repair is and what it costs after the diagnosis, and nothing is done until you agree to it.
What if I cannot find the model number?
Book anyway. The technician reads it from the rating plate at the visit. If you do find it first, add it to the description: it helps the right part come on the first trip.
Can I call instead of using the form?
Yes. The number and the hours are at the top of every page. The form reaches the same people and does not wait for the phone to be answered.
What if the refrigerator is not worth repairing?
You are told so at the diagnosis, with the reason, before any repair is priced. That answer is part of the visit.
