What Lakeview does

Lake View was a separate town until Chicago annexed it in 1889, and it lies along the lakefront north of Lincoln Park.

Most of its housing went up between annexation and the 1930s, so it mixes stone row houses, corner and courtyard apartment buildings and taller lakefront apartment hotels.

Wrigley Field sits in its northwest corner, and the blocks around it fill with crowds on game days.
