actually means.
E5 is listed in Bertazzoni's table as a problem with the freezer's frosting sensor. As with the other codes in the table, the manual says the refrigerator can keep cooling and freezing, but asks for a technician. It is a sensor report, not a statement that the freezer has warmed up.
