What Er IF
actually means.
Er IF reports that the fan blowing cold air into the ice compartment has failed. Sears lists a blocked fan, a defective fan motor, a wiring problem in the circuit or a failed control board. The 795 service manual sets the code when the fan sends back no running signal for 115 seconds.
