What E2
actually means.
On Viking undercounter refrigerated drawers, a flashing E2 means the control saw the condenser fan motor drawing more or less current than it should. The control watches the main refrigeration parts all the time and flashes a code when one of them goes outside its normal range. Viking also warns that a power line fluctuation can bring up a code when nothing is wrong.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Viking's own guidance for E2 on its refrigerators. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
The first time you see it, clear it: hold SET and press ON/OFF four times.
Watch the display over the next few days to see whether E2 comes back.
If it returns, arrange service through your dealer or Viking Customer Service.
What not to do
E2 names the condenser fan motor specifically. It is not the compressor, which has its own code, E1.
