What Door Alarm
actually means.
The door alarm is BlueStar's reminder that a door has stayed open. On the column models it beeps and puts a warning message on the display after three minutes. On the built-in models it sounds continuously after five minutes. Closing the door stops it.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from BlueStar's own guidance for Door Alarm on its refrigerators. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Shut the refrigerator and freezer doors fully.
Check for a drawer, bin or tall item that stops a door from closing.
If the alarm continues with every door shut, press Alarm to silence it and book a visit.
Cleared?
Nothing needed repairing. If the refrigerator does not settle back to temperature, that is a separate problem.
What not to do
It does not report a cooling problem. The high temperature alarm is separate and waits for the compartment itself to warm.
What you may
notice with it.
The refrigerator problem Door Alarm tends to arrive with. Answer these at the refrigerator before anyone is booked.
