What SAB
actually means.
SAB on the control means Sabbath mode is on. The refrigerator keeps cooling normally, but the controls and the main light switch stop responding and every other display light goes dark. Only SAB, alarm and + stay shown.

Hold the alarm and + keys together for five seconds to turn the mode off.
Expect a delay of 15 to 25 seconds before the compressor starts in this mode; that is by design.
After a power cut the unit returns to the same mode, so switch it off again if needed.

Nothing needed repairing. If the refrigerator does not settle back to temperature, that is a separate problem.
