What F141
actually means.
F141 means the fresh food door has been open for 15 minutes. It is a door alert, and nothing has broken. If the door stays open, the number goes up: F142 at 30 minutes and F143 at 45 minutes.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Miele's own guidance for F141 on its refrigerators. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Close the fridge compartment door.
Check that nothing, such as a shelf item or a bin, is stopping the door from closing all the way.
If the door was open a long time, give the compartment time to cool back down before you judge the temperature.
Cleared?
Nothing needed repairing. If the refrigerator does not settle back to temperature, that is a separate problem.
What not to do
It is not a cooling problem. For the freezer door, Miele uses a separate set of numbers: F144, F145 and F146.
