What CF
actually means.
CF points at the condenser fan, the one low at the back of the cabinet that carries heat away from the condenser. The control expects a steady feedback signal from that fan while it runs, and CF appears when the signal comes back too short. LG offers no owner fix for it and sends it straight to a repair visit.

Write the code down exactly as shown, including any E or Er in front of it, together with the model number from the label inside the door.
Check the fresh food and freezer temperatures so you can say whether cooling has changed since the code appeared.
Keep the doors shut as much as you can until someone has looked at it.
Book a repair visit; LG lists no steps for an owner to try on this code.
What not to do
This is not FF or rF. Those two are fans inside the cold compartments, where LG suggests a manual defrost first; CF is the fan outside the cooled space, and defrosting the cabinet does nothing for it.
