What HI
actually means.
HI, H or High Temp means one of the compartments has gone past its safe limit: 26°F or warmer in the freezer, or 55°F or warmer in the refrigerator. Electrolux says the usual cause is a door left open or not fully shut, though a changed setting or a poor door seal can also do it. The alarm can be muted, but the indicator stays on until the temperature is back to normal.

A light or a message asking for a visit. It says that something wants attention, not what, so the visit starts with a diagnosis.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Electrolux's own guidance for HI on its refrigerators. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Close every door firmly and look for anything stopping one from sealing.
Press Clear Alerts to acknowledge it; the panel then shows the highest temperature reached, which tells you how warm it got.
Check the food against that reading.
If the doors were shut and the temperature does not recover, book a visit.
What not to do
It is not a sensor error code. It is a real reading that the cabinet got too warm, so the question is why.
What you may
