What Temperature Alarm
actually means.
Amana's temperature alarm goes off when the refrigerator has been over 48°F, or the freezer over 15°F, for more than 90 minutes. Once the cabinet cools, the sound stops but the light flashes until Alarm is pressed. If the temperature stays up, the refrigerator is not holding food at a safe temperature.
