What Showroom Mode
actually means.
Showroom Mode switches off refrigeration. The lights and the display keep working, and the display shows the set points, so the unit looks fine but does not get cold. On the column models the door ajar alarm also keeps working. Nothing has broken.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from True Residential's own guidance for Showroom Mode on its refrigerators. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Look for the showroom mode icon or text on the display.
Turn it off from the control menu as shown in your model's manual. On TR-42 and TR-48 columns, you reach it by holding power and down until the service warning appears.
After the mode is off, check that the cabinet starts cooling.
Cleared?
Nothing needed repairing. If the refrigerator does not settle back to temperature, that is a separate problem.
What not to do
Do not treat it as a cooling system failure. The menus change nothing about refrigeration until showroom mode is turned off.

True Residential refrigerator repair
Built-in refrigerator
Flush with the cabinets, serviced from the front, and almost always repaired rather than replaced.
Refrigerator column
Separate refrigerator and freezer towers, each with its own sealed system — so a failure stays on one side.
Undercounter refrigerator
A single 15 to 24 inch unit under the worktop — front-vented, tightly enclosed, and easily starved of air.
