--- title: "SKS refrigerator showing OF | RefrigeratorRepair.center" description: "What OF means on SKS refrigerators, what to check before booking, and when it is not a failure at all." url: "https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/sks-of/" --- # SKS refrigerator showing OF OF on a Signature Kitchen Suite panel means the unit is in its store display setting, which SKS calls Display Mode or Demo Mode. ## What OF actually means. OF on a Signature Kitchen Suite panel means the unit is in its store display setting, which SKS calls Display Mode or Demo Mode. The panel still lights up and responds, but cooling has been switched off to save energy on a showroom floor. SKS refrigerator display · also shown as OFF What to do when OF shows on the refrigerator ### Kind of code Mode, not a failure A setting somebody chose, or an alert it raised on purpose — a showroom mode, a door or power alarm. Nothing has broken and no part is needed. ### Usually leads to No repair Wake the panel first by pressing the compartment button (Refrigerator, Freezer or Lower, depending on the model). ### Shows up as Refrigerator Not Cooling The compartment is warm but the appliance still has power and still makes noise. ### Make SKS Signature Kitchen Suite, LG's luxury built-in brand: column, built-in and French door refrigeration. ### Source SKS integrated column refrigerator owner's manual (sksappliances.com PDF) Printed as OF on SKS column refrigerators and freezers (SKSCR, SKSCF), the SKSFD3604P and the older SKSCR2401P; as OFF on the SKSSB4202S and SKSUD2402P. The key combination differs by model, so follow the one for yours. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from SKS's own guidance for OF on its refrigerators. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Wake the panel first by pressing the compartment button (Refrigerator, Freezer or Lower, depending on the model). 02 On columns and the SKSFD3604P, hold that button together with Water Filter Reset until it beeps and a temperature shows. 03 On the SKSSB4202S side-by-side, hold Refrigerator and Ice Plus for five seconds; on SKSUD2402P drawers, hold Lower and press Wi-Fi three times. 04 Give the cabinet time to get cold before loading food; book a visit only if it still is not cooling once the temperature setting is back on the display. ### Cleared? Nothing needed repairing. If the refrigerator does not settle back to temperature, that is a separate problem. ### What not to do OF is not a sealed-system problem. A column that shows OF has simply been told not to cool, and no refrigerant or compressor repair is involved. ## What you may notice with it. The refrigerator problems OF tends to arrive with. Wake the panel first by pressing the compartment button (Refrigerator, Freezer or Lower, depending on the model). ### Why does my new SKS column show OF and feel warm inside? SKS built the display setting for units standing in a store, and in that state cooling is off on purpose. Clearing it with your model's key hold brings cooling back. ### I cleared OF on my SKS but it is still warm. What now? A warm cabinet needs a while to come down once cooling is back on. If the temperature setting is showing and the inside is still not getting cold after a day, book a visit. --- **[Read on the site: SKS refrigerator showing OF | RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/sks-of/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
