Switch the power off before touching anything. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I check the cause of PC ER on my Samsung myself? You can look at one thing safely: with the power off, see whether the harness connector above the door has worked loose and push it home. If PC ER shows again after power is restored, it needs a technician. ### Does PC ER on a Samsung mean the main board is dead? Not necessarily, since a loose connector gives exactly the same message as a failed board. Tell the technician about any recent surge so the wiring gets checked before anything is replaced. --- **[Read on the site: Samsung refrigerator showing PC ER](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/samsung-pc-er/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
