Write the code down before touching the panel; Samsung asks owners not to press buttons to clear codes. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Should I press buttons to clear 8E on my Samsung? No, Samsung asks owners not to clear codes that way, so write 8E down first and leave the panel alone. After that, see whether the bin under the freezer ice maker is still filling. ### Is Samsung 8E the same code as 14E? No, 8E is the sensor on the ice maker in the freezer, while 14E is listed separately as the ice maker sensor. Mixing the two up sends the diagnosis toward the wrong ice maker sensor. --- **[Read on the site: Samsung refrigerator showing 8E | RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/samsung-8e/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
