Cut the power for about five minutes, then switch it back on. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why is only the fresh-food side of my LG warm with ER rF? The freezer can stay cold because its own air still moves, while the fan that pushes cold into the fresh-food compartment has stopped. Frost on the back panel of that section is a common companion sign. ### Does ER rF on an LG mean the compressor is failing? No, the code names the fresh-food fan, not the part that produces cold. Try the five-minute power cut, look for frost, and book a visit if ER rF keeps returning. --- **[Read on the site: LG refrigerator showing ER rF | RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/lg-er-rf/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
