Check the label for a 253 prefix; the key pair below comes from that family's guide. ### Why do the lights and dispenser stop working when my Kenmore shows Sb? Sb is Sabbath mode, which deliberately shuts off the lights, the dispenser and the keypad. The High Temp alarm stays active, so the unit still warns you if a compartment warms too far. ### Why is Sb still on my Kenmore 253 after the power came back? The guide for these models says Sabbath mode is kept through a power interruption. Hold the freezer down arrow and the refrigerator up arrow together for five seconds to leave it, just as before the outage. --- **[Read on the site: Kenmore 253 refrigerator showing Sb](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/kenmore-frigidaire-sb-sb/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
