A drawer that really was left open explains it; if it was shut, Sears has the freezer door switch and its wiring tested, and a switch that stays open with the door closed is changed. Confirm the model label reads 111 on a bottom-freezer unit before going by this meaning of dF. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Is dF on my Kenmore Trio a freezer temperature problem? No, dF is the freezer door switch code; freezer sensor problems show as F1 Lo or F1 Hi. It appears when the control thinks the drawer has been open longer than an hour. ### What if the freezer drawer was shut the whole time and dF still shows? Then Sears has the freezer door switch and its wiring tested. A switch that stays open with the drawer closed is replaced. --- **[Read on the site: Kenmore refrigerator showing dF | RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/kenmore-df-111/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
