Leave it to finish if you switched it on deliberately. ### Why are the fans loud when tC shows on my GE? TurboCool runs the fans at high speed to pull the fresh food side down quickly, and GE says they keep running even with the door open. That is expected while the setting is on. ### How do I turn off tC on a GE early? A three-second hold on the Fridge pad cancels it, and touch-screen panels do the same through Express Mode. Otherwise it ends by itself after up to eight hours. --- **[Read on the site: GE refrigerator showing tC | RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/ge-tc/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
