Disconnect power for a minute or two and reconnect it to see whether the code clears. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why is my GE Profile cooling fading after dE? Frost not cleared from the coil slowly blocks airflow over days. That is why cooling tends to fade rather than stop at once. ### Is dE with a small d the same as DE on my GE Profile? No, capital DE is demonstration mode, not a defrost problem. Check the letter case before acting. --- **[Read on the site: GE Profile refrigerator showing dE](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/ge-profile-de/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
