CC on a GE Profile means the fresh food side is off its target temperature. GE points you to the temperature controls first, because a setting knocked out of place gives the same result as a cooling problem. GE Profile refrigerator display What to do when CC shows on the refrigerator ### Kind of code Service indication A light or a message asking for a visit. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Look at the fresh food setting and return it to the temperature you normally use. 02 Leave a thermometer on a middle shelf for a few hours and compare it with the setting. 03 If the setting is right and the reading still drifts, book a visit. ### Still there? Look at the fresh food setting and return it to the temperature you normally use. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does my GE Profile show CC after cleaning? A setting knocked out of place gives the same result as a cooling problem. Return it to your usual temperature and check with a thermometer. ### Does GE Profile CC point to a specific part? No, CC reports a temperature that is off target without naming a cause. A GE Profile whose setting is correct but whose thermometer reading keeps wandering is the one that needs a technician. --- **[Read on the site: GE Profile refrigerator showing CC](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/ge-profile-cc/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
