Unplug the unit for a minute or two; on some models that resets the panel and clears the code. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Does a power reset fix dE on a GE refrigerator? On some models a minute or two unplugged clears the panel and the code. If dE comes back, check for frost on the freezer back panel and book a visit. ### Why does my GE cool less and less after showing dE? When defrost is not working, frost keeps thickening over the coil and blocks the air. That makes the cooling fade gradually rather than stop all at once. --- **[Read on the site: GE refrigerator showing dE | RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/error-codes/ge-de/)** **[Book a visit with RefrigeratorRepair.center](https://refrigeratorrepair.center/schedule/)**
